Want To Be More Successful? START MANAGING YOUR BULLSHIT!

Want To Be More Successful? START MANAGING YOUR BULLSHIT!!

Success, Success, Success.

Something that we are all desire more of, but also something that we don’t necessarily understand.

Now there’s a reason I’ve started with this point, so bare with me.

Success is an individual idea to every single of us, and it’s important for us acknowledge that before we start to consider managing your BS.

Success…

It could be simply be creating the confidence to say what you need to say,

or it could be spending less time in the business world and more time with your loved ones, but it could also be completing that thing you’ve putting off for so long.

It could be to double your income or salary, but it could also be getting up 15 minutes earlier so you aren’t running around like an idiot.

Whether you are a business owner yourself or currently in the corporate world, I am certain that you fit in somewhere in the above points.

So as you can see, success is a subjective term and it is up to you to define what that looks like and create it for yourself.

But first.

YOU HAVE GOT TO MANAGE YOUR BULLSHIT!!

So what does that actually mean?…

Well let me tell you a short story.

There once was a man who founded a six-figure business.

A man who you would presume was living on purpose, whilst leading a large team in the process.

A man who had all these huge goals and dreams, a man looking to not only expand himself but also his business in the process.

A man that from the outside looking in, everything looked incredible, yet a man that was hiding so much.

What the world couldn’t see, was the sheer amount of stress he was putting himself under, constantly putting out in fires in his business, pushing his mind and body to the limit.

Not forgetting, the ‘destressing few drinks’ on a nightly basis, which would result in weekly hangovers and a cloud of guilt hanging over him.

This was a man that was living two separate lives, none of which complimented each other’s purpose.

A man that was burning the candle at both ends.

The morale of the story?…..

‘If you want to create more personal success then you have to create the space to do so, and you do that by managing your bullshit’

I say this because I’ve personally lived a double life myself.

“Wanting to create so much in one area, yet hiding from the pain in another”

In truth, we have all things going on internally that we either choose to acknowledge and address, or they will ultimately run our lives forever.

You are unconsciously crying out for alignment. You are unconsciously crying out for balance.

Not dealing with the things that are no longer serving you is literally killing your chance of creating the life you want.

You can’t build the business of your dreams whilst you are drinking away the stresses.

You can’t build the confidence to take appropriate action, whilst harbouring the fear of judgement that tears you apart.

You can’t land the role of a lifetime carrying that anxious unwanted baggage.

YOU HAVE TO GET HONEST WITH YOURSELF AND MANAGE YOUR BULLSHIT!!

(I speak from experience)

MANAGING YOUR BULLSHIT = DOING THE WORK TO IDENTIFY AND LET GO OF THE THINGS THAT NO LONGER SERVE YOU.

So how do you do that?…. Let’s get you moving forward….

1. Stop Lying to Yourself

The one person I would invite you to be honest with is yourself.

This was not only hugely empowering for me but it has also done the same for so many of my clients. Nothing can ever change in your life until you can acknowledge and recognise the things that aren’t working for you.

My wish for you is to get brutally honest with yourself.

My wish for you is to stop hiding from the challenges, behaviours and fears that are holding you back from achieving everything you desire. There is so much power in simply being honest with yourself, being honest that you are selling yourself short, being honest that you can do and be so much more than where you are right now.

As a human being we have something called a compulsion to close, and if you allow your unwanted heavy baggage to continue running the show, you will always experience a sense of something missing.

It’s time to get honest with who you truly are.

2. Realise that you don’t have to be in anyone’s box.

Believe it or not you can live your life as you choose.

You no longer have to live out anyone else’s story, you simply get to step up, make yourself important and finally do what it is that you want to do.

So many of us carry the beliefs and conditions of our parents, including specific mindsets, specific experiences, and even sometimes religious beliefs.

Now there isn’t anything wrong with any of those, but there definitely is if they are no longer serving you.

Most people go through life carrying the bullshit limitations of another human being, feeling stuck in someone else’s box, killing every ounce of potential and joy in the process.

You do not have to take that road. You do not have to be in anyone’s box.

You have the right to live a life however you choose.

3. Get support and identify your blind spots

Get support to identify the things that are no longer serving you overall.

It’s not the things we can see that hurt us, it’s the things we can’t that hurt us most.

It is very powerful when you invest in support from somebody who can help you see what it is holding you back, and ultimately manage your bullshit with you.

In truth, most people won’t ever give you that, they will tell you what they believe you want to hear, which is exactly the reason why you aren’t living the life you desire.

Don’t get me wrong, they are coming from a good place.

But what they don’t see is how much they are dragging you back from creating the successes you deserve.

Being around somebody that will actually tell you the truth will change your life.

It will help identify your blindspots and ultimately create the results you desire.

If you wish to be more successful, it is up to you manage your bullshit and start making steps in the right direction.
